Digital Narrative Timeline
For my digital narrative, I have begun the story boarding process, which evidently is a bit more time consuming than one would think. Once I am done story boarding, which will most likely be in the next couple of days, I have allotted time for a couple excursions on which I plan on filming, which will hopefully take place late this week and this weekend. The final step once I am done filming, which will be early next week, is going to be editing and constructing my voice over for the video. I am working on arranging a good time to meet with Dave Underwood during the editing process so he can offer his advice and critique my work.
Digital Timeline
For my project, I will draw from stock footage found on youtube and create a sort of nature documentary covering the 3 different animals discussed in my essay. I have already found many clips that I can cut up and use as footage, but I plan to have a script written by next Wednesday to model the clips off of. I easily have enough footage to create about a 5 minute video, but I think the biggest challenge will be making the script concise enough to fit within this time constraint. That is, I will need to find the right balance between describing the what is occurring within the context of the clips and also providing the audience with an understanding of why this is important for science, and ultimately, humanity.
Time Line
My timeline for this assignment is as follows;

Digital Timeline
By using our essay we will read through and highlight the main points.
Once we have the main points we will then create the slide show presentation with the proper progression.
Make sure everything fits and has natural flow
Once we have good outline for slides we will then go back and add design, pics, and sounds
Start making script and story
