Here are some guidelines for posting

 1) Discussion comments: Every week I'll post a discussion question, and you'll be required to respond to it via comments. Your comments should be about 200-250 words. Additionally, you'll need to comment on your peer's comments to get full credit.

 2) Content-wise, please refrain from posting anything that could be considered racist, sexist or discriminatory in any way. I want this to be a respectful forum, and while I don’t want to censor your thoughts, please make considerate choices about the content you post and remember to consider your audience.

 3) Make sure to click post when you're done - otherwise, no one will ever see it!

 4) Make sure to read your peers’ posts! The goal is to create an online writing community that is supportive and constructive. Also, making comments is a part of your grade for this assignment. You’ll need to make a minimum of 10 comments for the semester. Keep in mind that saying something like "Wow! Good post! You're a really good writer!" is very nice, but not very helpful, and it doesn't count toward your 10 comments.

 5) There will also be occasional full length blog post assignments. These assignments will be longer (around 600 words), have a title that gives the reader a sense of what to expect.
